St. Thomas Energy Inc.
3-Nov-00
We have a new name
Due to the deregulation of the electrical industry, we officially incorporated our new company on November 3, 2000. St. Thomas Energy Services Incorporated will operate under the Ontario Business Corporation Act, and will now have a five member board of directors who have been appointed. This board replaces the former commission whose members were elected during the municipal elections.
What does that mean to you our customer?
We will continue to offer you the same excellent service that you have received in the past.
Deregulation of the electrical industry has been delayed until the spring of 2001. However, you may have Electricity Brokers knocking on your door trying to sell you electricity. Check out our question and answer page about deregulation of the Electricity Industry before signing with any broker.
Before you sign you may also wish to compare suppliers and buy from the one who is best for you. To help you do so, we've listed some tips that you may want to check out before signing any contract. Check out our link to Shopping for Electricity.
We have been in the electrical business since 1906. We can and will continue to sell electricity. We are here to stay and we are eager to keep your business. If you have questions please call us at 631-5550 ext. 230 or 237 or e-mail us at contact@sttenergy.com
